Research

The WMC Lab focuses on developing theoretical research into practice in the interdisciplinary area antennas, signal processing, spectrum sharing, and Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications. The WMC Lab currently has:

  • mmWave Transceiver System @28GHz
  • Live spectrum monitoring system from 10 MHz to 6 GHz running 24/7
  • Live connections to Geo-location databases
  • Compressive spectrum sensing testbed
  • TV white space spectrum (470-790 MHz) licence issued by Ofcom
  • TV white space system testbed with base stations and terminals
